What constitutes a manual order?

Manual orders refer to orders generated directly within the LaunchMyStore Dashboard, distinct from those imported from your online store. These orders are typically created for one-time special requests or for orders processed via phone.

Note: The manual orders feature is available exclusively on the web version of LaunchMyStore.

How to generate a manual order?

To generate a manual order, start by navigating to your Orders page. Once you're on the Orders page, you'll see the Dashboard displayed.

Click on "Create order." Upon clicking the button, you will be directed to the dashboard for creating orders. Within this dashboard, you'll have access to the following sections:

  1. Products

  2. Customer Details

  3. Payment Details

  4. Payment Method

  5. Source

Products:

In this segment, you can include the necessary products for the manual order. To add a product, simply click on "Add Product."

After clicking on Add product, a display of products and their variants will appear. Here, you can include the desired products in the Manual order. Once you've chosen the necessary products, click Select.

Once the products are selected, proceed to enter customer information. To add customer details, click on Add customer details. You can then either choose a customer from the existing database or add a new customer.

To include a new customer, simply select "Add New Customer" option. You'll then be prompted to input the customer's information, which includes:

  • Name

  • Mobile number

  • Email Address (optional)

  • Address

  • Locality / Area

  • Landmark

  • City

  • Pincode

  • State.

After inputting the necessary information, select 'Add customer.' Upon confirmation, the newly created customer will be included in LaunchMyStore's customer roster.

Payment Information:

After inputting the products and customer information, you'll gain access to the payment details on LaunchMyStore.

Here, you can also include a discount coupon to offer an additional discount to the customer. To add a coupon, simply click on 'Add Coupon.' Once you've clicked, you'll be prompted to enter the Coupon Code for the discount you wish to offer.

Payment Methods for Placing Manual Orders

In this section, you have the option to select the payment method. There are two payment methods available: Cash on Delivery (COD) or Prepaid.

If you opt for COD, the payment status will be indicated as COD on the order details page. Additionally, a confirmation message will be sent to the customer for COD orders.

For Prepaid orders, the payment status will be displayed as Paid.
