How to add additional languages to my store?

What is the languages section?

You can now select multiple languages for your storefront using the Languages section within your store settings. This section facilitates the translation of all static words such as 'Account,' 'Cart,' 'Search,' 'Product,' 'Loyalty Points,' and more for your store.

LaunchMyStore now offers support for over 100 languages through Google Translate's API. However, complete support for right-to-left (RTL) languages is currently not available.

Note: The Languages section does not translate the content you input on your LaunchMyStore dashboard, including data related to your products, categories, etc. We'll explore how you can translate these items below.

By default, English will be set as your primary language.

Now, select "Add more languages." A dialog box will appear containing a list of languages. You can also find the language you want to add by typing it into the search box.

Consider Hindi as an example. Choose your preferred language and then click on Add.

How to designate a primary language?

To designate a primary language, click on the three dots next to the language of your choice and select Set as primary language. This action will prompt your LaunchMyStore website to open directly in the chosen primary language.
